About us

Cornerstone Surveys is registered through the Surveyors Board of Queensland to perform cadastral surveys and endorsed to provide consulting services. 

Based in South East Queensland, we undertake projects across the whole of Queensland and we offer services across the full scope of surveying. Our company uses the Trimble S6, GPS in the field and use Survacad and Civil3D drafting software. 

Cornerstone Surveys has serviced clients on major developments including subdivisions, construction of main roads, leasing in shopping centres, residential property development and opening and closing of roads. The diversity and nature of our work means we often get to work alongside many other professionals in the construction industry, we also enjoy working with the general public. Cornerstone Surveys would be pleased to work with you on your next project.

Joel Anderson is the consulting surveyor and the founder of Cornerstone Surveys. Joel has always been passionate about surveying and he enjoys servicing his clients to the best of his ability; delivering a thorough and professional service in an efficient manner. Joel is an advocate for the profession of surveying and loves to see and help fellow surveyors progress in their career. When not surveying you’ll often find Joel spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys camping, fishing most sports and renovations. Joel’s children are already practising hitting pegs in and learning the language of survey.
